The last article. As in this blog's title, I owe you to write this topic.
Too early to say what HBS gave me. But I try to give a shot.
What HBS AMP gave me;
1. A chance to transform myself
AMP is the last place on the earth that we executives can change ourselves. In the daily life, we can't get out the hierarchical society, even our personal lives are affected to some extent.
AMP is the safe place. There is no stakeholders to push you. Then we can get the time to face ourselves, think about truly who we are, the strengths, weaknesses, tendency and most importantly how we want to live and die. With tons of case readings, AMP tried to push us on the edge to give us a chance to think.
For me, my biggest transformation was "I to WE". I would like to care about the people I met in my whole life, but didn't realize that I'm the instrument that they experience everyday. When they talk to me, they experience me though my voice, words I speak and faces. I always wish I could be there for them, be the one they talk to, give a good advice if I could and make them smile when their life become a bit tough. So if you get to see me, true me standing in front of you - hopefully a big smile on my face.
2. Acknowledgement of the world standard
We were completely strangers from all over world 8 weeks ago.Then started to live together. We fought a lot, argued and cried a couple of times. When we saw differences, tried so hard to understand them, but couldn't the most. But through these times, we finally got to respect those differences. Sounds more than a little crazy but I think, they became my family, especially my roommates.
AMP taught us important lessons from the past. I think this is what case study about. But I was impressed that AMP also taught the future. It's predictable. 10 years ago, there is no smart phone. Couldn't we predict? I don't think so. The important lesson is to try to see from the future.
4. Courage to make a difference
Final lecture of AMP, there is the words on the screen,
"We commit to make differences in the world"
Yes, we are the AMP graduates from now on and for the rest of our lives. People see me as special. But we are not special only by graduating Harvard business school. We are special only if we are making positive impacts to the world.

1.自分を変えるチャンス
AMPは、エクゼクティブが自分自身を変えることができる地上最後の場所です。我々は日常生活では階級社会から抜け出すことはできません。私生活もある程度の影響を受けています。
AMPは安全な場所です。あなたには利害関係者はいません。そこではじめて、私たちは自分自身と向き合う時間をとることができ、真に自分が誰であるか、長所、短所、傾向、そして最も重要な、生き方と死について考えることができるのだと思います。AMPは多くのケースを読ませ崖柄突き落とそうとします、それは、私たちに考えさせる機会を与えるためなのです。
私にとって最大の変化は「私」が「私たちに」変わった変化でした。私は人生で出会った人々を大切にしてきましたし、これからも大切にしていきたいと願っていますが、彼らも毎日私という人間を通じて経験していることを知りませんでした。彼らが私に話すとき、私の声、話す言葉、そして表情を通して私を経験しているのです。私はいつも彼らのために、彼らが話し相手とになり、できるだけ良いアドバイスをし、彼らの人生が少し難しくなったときに笑顔にしたいと願っています。もしあなたが私に会うことがあるのなら、あなたの目の前に立っているのは、本当の私です。できれば大きな笑顔がそこにあるといいのですが。
2.世界標準を知る
私たちは8週間前は完全に他人でしたが、その後、一緒に住み始み、何度も喧嘩をして、議論し、泣きました。違いを見つけたとき、我々はそれらを理解するために、一生懸命努力しました。でも、ほとんどの場合は理解することはできませんでした。しかし、これらの経験を通じて違いを尊重するようになりました。
ちょっとおかしく聞こえると思いますが、彼らは（特に私のルームメイトは）私の大切な家族となりました。
3.過去の知識、将来の予測
AMPは過去からの重要な教訓を教えてくれます。これがケーススタディなのだと思います。しかし、AMPは未来を教えてくれます。未来はある程度予測可能です。 10年前、スマートフォンはありませんでした。予測できなかったのでしょうか？私はそうは思いません。いつも人生において大切な教訓は、「未来から逆算して見てみること」なのです。
4.違いを生む勇気
AMPの最後の講義は、
「私たちは世界に変化をもたらすことを約束します」
で終わります。
私たちは、これからも、残りの人生においてもAMPを卒業生となります。人々は私を特別だと思うでしょう。しかし、私たちはハーバードビジネススクールを卒業するだけでは特別なのではありません。私たちは、世界に良い影響を与えていてこそ、特別と言えるのではないでしょうか。
