2017/7/6 Book reading - Who says elephants can't dance - 巨象も踊る

I bought this book a long time ago... Now just finished.

Louis Gerstner graduated Harvard Business School.

I like biography of CEOs and always put post-it and summarize on excel after.
I've been reading a little less than 200 biography in my life so far.

But this book is definitely in top 10.

Breaking bureaucracy, Strategy focus, Passion for change, Save IBM for America, etc. Reading his e-mail when the crisis (such as Year 2000 problem, 9.11), I can tell he is really good person and great leader to work for.

Also he has been passionate about children education. I wish I could be like him to contribute society, not only being CEO hero who saves the company dramatically, but also something I can give to the world since I have been given enough.

But first thing is first, need to finish HBS. Very proud of having him as alumni.

私はCEOの伝記が好きで、いつもポストイットを付けて、その後にエクセルに要約しています。私はこれまでのところ私の人生で約200の伝記を読んでいます。 この本はまちがいなくトップ10に入っています。

官僚制度の廃止、戦略の絞り、改善への熱情、アメリカのためにIBMを救ってくれと言われて引き受ける愛国心。また、特に彼のメールは企業が危機に直面した際（2000年問題や9.11など）、私は彼が良い人であり、偉大なリーダーであることが分かります。
また、彼はCEOになる以前から、35年もの間公立学校教育の改善に貢献してきました。

素直に私も彼のようにありたい。
劇的に会社を救うCEOであるだけでなく、一人の個人として社会に貢献できればと思います。

私が今までたくさん与えて頂いたので、少しでもお返しができれば。

とはいえ、まずはHBSを修了しないことには始まりません。
先輩として彼のような方がいることはとても誇らしく思います。
