First of all, I would like to express my deepest sympathy for the tragedy happened in Las Vegas today. News on TV everywhere in campus.

さて、今日はラスベガスで起きた銃撃事件について深い追悼の意を表したいと思います。

Spacial session : Nando Parrado
He is the survivor of the famous plane crash 1972 in Andes mountain for 72 days. He is the one to climb down the mountain. He explained how was like. Wordless situation.

特別セッション：Nando Parrado氏
彼は1972年のアンデス山脈に墜落した飛行機で72日間を生き抜いた方。自身で山を下った経験を教えてくれました。まさに言葉にならない状況。

At the end, he said,
"Why you see the future? You live now. You breath now. Do what you want to do. Tomorrow it maybe too late. This is the POWER OF NOW!" Speech ended with our full standing ovation and long applauding keeps on going. I heard this story many times, but talk live is so different.

最後に彼が言いました。
「なぜ未来を見ようとする？今生きているんだ。今息をしているんだ。やりたいことをやりなさい。明日にはもう遅いかもしれない。これが今というものの力なのです！」
力強い演説は全員スタンディングオベーションで幕を閉じ。この話しは何度も聞いていたけれど、彼自身から聞くと、まったく別の話に思えました。
